golden nugget blackjack tables I'm not really a gambler but I am a corporate meeting planner and I know that the hotel is often a big deciding factor when people are deciding to attend a conference.
Golden Nugget has been a big draw for my conference attendees.
It's a 3 hour drive from New Orleans and yet most New Orleanians don't even realize this Vegas style resort is there.
The rooms are large, decorated in upscale style, and the bathrooms as well - with their sliding barn style door.
The pool, water slides, lazy river and cabanas are first class!
The beachfront is adequate considering it's Lake Charles.
I do enjoy the burger place in the beachfront!
Speaking of golden nugget blackjack tables, the options are plentiful.
There's so much to do that I forgot to mention there's also a golf course and oh yeah a casino!
Check it out for a fun getaway or if hosting an event or meeting.
Did I forget to mention the sales and catering staff is fantastic!
Beth and Kizzie will take care of everything you need!
If you have a nice vehicle I would avoid the Golden Nugget tailgate was stolen out of their valet lot and after 3 days of phone calls when they were suppose to call me, they informed me they aren't covering it.
Since it was caught on camera they are released of liability.
Pretty cool place I just won't be going back, there's another casino right next-door.
Really disappointed in my check this out here.
Checked in for the first time and spent Wednesday-Friday with a girlfriend.
The good: The pool is fantastic.
Everything was kept clean and the lazy river was great.
The bad: Service was horrific almost everywhere we went.
And during our visit almost NOTHING was crowded.
We walked up to get sat at the Claim Jumper and had to flag down a person to get seated.
Then we sat for 10 minutes, got moved to another table and sat for another 10 minutes before the waiter finally took our order.
I get that you don't have control over everything that goes on around you BUT.
I feel like the staff there as a whole needs to be trained on customer service.
Being able to respond to "Good morning how are you" with something other than a blank stare and a grunt would be a good start.
First and foremost the security at the entrances are rude as all get out!
They take your ID and then throw it back at you.
Where please click for source the Christmas spirit?
Anyhow, the wait at the service desk was the golden nugget blackjack tables />The service desk needs to be remodeled with more staff.
There were 3 agents at first then the guy went on lunch as the line got longer and longer.
I stood in line for about 45 mins just to get a new players card.
As a new patron of the Golden Nugget the service thus far has been horrible.
On the other hand.
The restroom was very click as well.
The casino offered a lot of new slot machine.
As I played the slots the drinks were flowing!
The waitresses were amazing!
I didn't allow my entrance and this web page my interaction with the service desk deter me from my overall experience of the casino.
I'll be back because it's only 2hrs away from my home.
This was a weekend getaway promising to be relaxing and fun.
Relaxing and fun at a casino read article />Skepticism and Lady Luck here I come!
Came in through the garage to a lavish boutique hotel's lobby flanked by various stores and wonderful smells drifting from close by restaurants.
As we were being checked in, I looked over the agent's shoulder to admire what seemed to be an animated painting.
Only to realize the checkin area has the stunning pool, jacuzzi and bar pool as its background.
This is a huge hotel and I for sure KNEW they skimped out on the room decor and comfort and poured all the resources in the stunning lobby.
Opened the door to the bedroom, spacious, clean, bathroom immaculate.
Just as I thought cool enough hotel room no frills.
Then I was asked to go to the balcony!
Hold still my heart!
The view was simply breathtaking, the spectacular infinity pool, the color scheme, the grotto, the steaming jacuzzis below, nothing short of wowing.
I could go on for days about this place but won't.
The cuisine, the shopping, the ambience in the casino all wonderful.
I tried my luck enjoyed the games learned new games.
Not to worry if you're not a gambler, there's plenty more to do.
Fun for everyone; couples families and groups.
This hotel with its younger crowd is more modern and chic than its neighbor L'Auberge which tends to be on the conservative side of things.
Shouldn't have doubted the words "it's gonna be a fun and relaxing weekend" it was that and much much more.
I was seduced by one of Louisiana's enchanted places Golden Nugget.
We visited the Golden Nugget for our Anniversary and we were impressed.
We stayed in the Rush Tower our room was very spacious and we had an amazing view of the pool and lake.
The hotel is fairly new.
The hotel has a resort field we didn't have to leave the hotel for anything.
I'm not a gambler because I'm a firm believer that the house always wins so asinos have never really tickled my fancy.
However, when my friends want to do a Lake Charles trip for purposes than include non-gambling activities such as drinking, dancing, eating, and just be social?
And in Lake Charles that means you go to either Golden Nugget or L'Auberge.
I've only been to Golden Go here a handful of times and I haven't actually stayed here.
The casino floor is pretty typical of your Lousiana casinos: you have to show your ID for age check before you're allowed entry.
This is different from the casinos in Las Vegas where people would just walk in and out.
Due to the ID check, the entry to the casino could take a while if there's a line, otherwise, it's a pretty quick process.
Smoking is permitted inside the casino so if you're like me and you don't smoke, you will hate the smell.
After being in the casino for a bit, however, you'll get used to the double exposure blackjack vegas and just forget about it.
They offer your typical games that you find in a casino: slot machines, blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, etc.
Personally when I do decide to play, I stick with the roulette betting only on either red or black so I have a 50-50 chance of winning or losing.
Anyway, every time I step foot inside blog blackjack dealer Golden Nugget, I always have a good time.
Definitely wouldn't mind coming back and maybe one of these days, I will actually stay at the hotel and enjoy what the hotel has to offer when it comes to amenities pool, etc.
Great job Golden Nugget!
Did not accept a Military ID as a valid form of ID.
Meanwhile all the other casinos around accepted it and would thank you for your service.
It is an outstanding value.
The people are friendly and helpful.
A year ago I gave them a 1 star for failing to meet the minimum; no hot water.
Apparently they listened thanks for the help Ron White.
Stayed in Golden Nugget rush tower 12-19-19 and left my wallet inside the hotel stayed in room 882.
Their employees that cleaned my room and took my wallet and went on a shopping spree.
What happened to rules and regulations.
We are sitting in an establishment meant for adults inhaling smoke even though I'm a non smoker and drinking alchohol around mother fuckers whom are cussing.
Belly and back showing and everything looks like a 12 yr old with glasses on.
Fuck you tramp with the white shirt.
I expected way better with this establishment.
Honestly wondering of I'll ever come back.
One of the most modern hotel in Lake Charles.
It is a newer hotel hence the decor is very up to date.
It is trendy and contemporary, worth staying at.
I have been here for couple of times, the hotel rooms are very nice, always clean and the maid services was very good too.
I do not gamble here since this hotel's odd is not very good.
They have some fine dining restaurants here but nothing really superb, the buffet used to be very good, but not any more.
The hotel pool is definitely very nice.
In winter time they have the fireplace all over the swimming pool to keep warm and they light up the entire pool at night, very scenery.
Definitely a great hotel to stay, there are a lot of great small local restaurant around this area that you can enjoy.
This is our second and last time visiting this hotel.
We came here a few years ago for my husband's 50th birthday and tried it again this past weekend hoping it would be better.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm.
At first I thought ok no big deal but we waited 1.
Valet had already taken our bags to the bell desk but we had to hunt them down so we could get my husband's clothes so he could change to play golf while we waited for the room.
The golf course is laid out horribly, the flags and markers are not well indicated and there's no course guide available on the course so you're playing blind until you get the 4th par and there's somewhat of a map.
We stay at alot of hotels and I've never seen a hotel that fully charges you on the date you book.
This wouldn't be an issue If again the room had been ready and the "extras" we asked for for our anniversary would have made it to our room.
I've given up on this hotel, we are not gamblers but it could be a great place for those of us living in Houston and wanting a quick getaway.
I would rather spend my money elsewhere.
Also, the restaurants are a joke.
Even with a reservation you get terrible service.
I loved my family trip to the golden nugget and our experience.
We were able to get a big suite and our time at H2O pool and bar was nice!
I love the little vacation because my dad comes here almost every single weekend and he earns points to redeem at Restaurants and bars and buffet!
They have many restaurants inside like Landry's and Lillie's cuisines.
The only bad part was that I was on the 12th floor suite and my TV didn't work.
I had two nights spent there and I constantly told front desk which they had several employees come and try to fix it, but none were able to.
I suggested to have them check everything on room before they put guest in as I know that sometimes it's not their fault.
Some of the employees have such an attitude, beware!
It's annoying but I get it, it's their job to ask 20 times a night scanning and checking ID each time I get a drink from a cocktail waitress.
She was super rude and disrespectful because I asked why I have to show my ID every time when I order a drink in the gaming area.
But thankfully I visited both casinos and Laberge won me out of the two.
blackjack animal catahoula connection everyone at GN has a rude attitude, but the ones that are needs some work definitely!
You judge if this is good or bad.
Our first and last time at this resort.
We checked in at 4pm and the room wasn't ready so we were told to wait and they will text us.
I tried to find a manager to explain to them that I have an impatient toddler and infant and need a room ASAP but they didn't care.
We waited over an hour before they assigned us a room and gave us a key.
There were lots of other people waiting on the floor and they didn't comp or even an apologies for the delay and inconvenience.
We finally got down to the pool at 6pm and it started to rain 5 minutes later.
I know that's not their fault but if there was not a delay to begin with, my son would have been able to enjoy the pool for at least and hour.
The rooms are nice and they have good restaurant choices, but the poor service and consideration of others people time is enough to lose our business.
I would have loved underground nyc give this hotel 4 stars but unfortunately they have bed bugs.
The pools was great, the restaurant choices were awesome.
The room was nice.
I had an amazing view of the pool.
Scenic wise, this place is nice.
The afternoon of my check out date, red bumps started to appear on me and my partners legs.
I will be calling first thing Monday, to inform them of this unfortunate occasion Had a terrific stay in mid December and will visit again in warmer weather.
We had a lake view room over looking the pool and the staff were very hospitable.
An unexpected yet pleasant surprise.
I wasn't expecting much.
I would suggest the Golden Nugget is a 5 star resort rather than the listed 4 star.
Boosting fabulous eating selections from traditional American to Asian infused.
I've visited during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, so it wasn't full as during the summer months.
However, all pools, hot tubs, and lazy rivers are heated.
They also stay open until 2am with walking up or swim up poolside bar.
Definitely a Las Vegas inspired resort in every manner.
I highly recommend a stay.
One negative, the drinks and meals are a bit pricey.
An innovative casino floor featuring over 75 table games, a state-of-the-art poker room, and 1,600 of the world's newest slot machines redefines the gaming experience across the industry.

If you cannot provide enough hot water to bath, you fail the basic requirements of the cheapest motel.
I can understand a "technical problem," but when two guests in different towers and floors experience the same issue, it is a systemic problem; a design flaw.
It was mid-week and the hotel was not that busy.
In four shower attempts I had hot water only one time; the system was working it was just totally inadequate.
The beautiful building and tasteful decor are worthless if you cannot meet the basic function of any hotel.
This is not true of all Golden Nugget Hotels.
